Scarlett Johansson, star of blockbuster Iron Man 2 and current spin-off Avengers Assemble, was last night awarded her own star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame alongside the likes of Johnny Depp, The Beatles, Penélope Cruz and Frank Sinatra. Looking stunning in a monochrome Preen dress, Scarlett received her star, located outside of Madame Tussauds Hollywood Wax Museum, becoming the 2,470th name to be feature on the famous walk.

“Upswept hair was, and generally always is, the preferred look for the stars at the Oscars. However, variety was certainly the key to this year’s bedazzling looks.

Hosting the awards along side James Franco, Anne Hathway opted for a simple, soft chignon. This classic look complimented Anne’s ravishing red Valentino Haute Couture gown perfectly! Also opting for the up ‘do was Jennifer Hudson who rocked a voluminous style and Black Swan star Mila Kunis who went for a beautifully intricate retro look.

Also choosing to rock the upswept hair look was Nicole Kidman. Opting for a simple, yet stylish, playful ponytail, Nicole’s swept up look completed her elegant and graceful look. Mandy Moore gave a twist to her up ‘do as she opted for braids and top knots to complete her simple, yet elegant, style.

In other news the celebrity that has really caught our eye over recent weeks is lady of the moment Jessie J! Jessie is currently top of the charts with her new single, but she is also  becoming a hair inspiration to many.
